Why do this training?
Back of the House Kitchen training might be one of the most important training classes you do this year. Keeping your foodservice free of a foodborne illness is imperative to the success of your business. Foodborne illness outbreaks cost the industry over 23 billion dollars a year at an average $100,000 per outbreak.
Whats involved?
A qualified trainer comes out to your location and performs hands on training in your kitchen with up to 15 employees per training session. By doing the training at your establishment our trainer is able to be in a place where your employees are every day and the training is much more efficient than a classroom based training.
What will they learn?
Your employees will learn:
- How to properly calibrate a thermometer
- How to properly wash their hands and how often
- The correct way to cool food
- Cooking and Storage temperatures and ways to remember them
- Correct holding temperatures
- Ways to prevent cross contamination
- How to handle food utensils and equipment
- What to do if they are sick or another employee is sick
- Proper Cleaning and Sanitizing methods
- Physical and Chemical contamination.
- Why its so important they are trained.

What language will the training be done in?
All our trainers are advanced bilingual English/Spanish speakers. The training can be done in English, Spanish or both.
